How do I determine what size Mica Sheet I need?

The size of mica sheet you need for a stove window is measured to the outside of the window frame.

Or measure the inside of the window and ad approximately 1/2 inch to overall size.

How do I cut  Mica ?

Stove window Mica can be cut with a pair of heavy scissors.

How do I drill a hole in Mica ?

Place the Mica between 2 sturdy pieces of cardboard and use a regular drill.

Will Mica Bend ?

Yes. But not very Much.

It is flexible but not very much.

What is the life span of Mica ?

Mica will last as long a long time, if respected.

Mica is fragile and will not survive rough treatment.

When it develops a hole, becomes dirty or splintered.
