How do I determine what size Mica Sheet I need?The size of mica sheet you need for a stove window is measured to the outside of the window frame. Or measure the inside of the window and ad approximately 1/2 inch to overall size. Back to Top
How do I cut Mica ?Stove window Mica can be cut with a pair of heavy scissors. Back to Top
How do I drill a hole in Mica ?Place the Mica between 2 sturdy pieces of cardboard and use a regular drill. Back to Top
Will Mica Bend ?Yes. But not very Much. It is flexible but not very much. Back to Top
What is the life span of Mica ?Mica will last as long a long time, if respected. Mica is fragile and will not survive rough treatment. Back to Top
When is it time to replace Stove Mica ?When it develops a hole, becomes dirty or splintered. Mica is not stopping sparks if it has holes in it.
